I'm Nick Foster! The first thing you will likely note is how damn tall I am (I take no offense to this assessment), but in between my abnormally large lungs beats the heart of a passionate creative. I graduated with a BFA in Acting at Ohio University with a minor in Screenwriting and Digital Storytelling (Wow! So much debt!). I was trained in the Meisner technique, as well as Fitzmaurice Voice Work, Knight-Thompson Speech Work, and various movement practices such as Laban.

 

While I would deem myself an actor first and foremost, I dabble in a variety of artistic vocations. That's right, I didn't get that Screenwriting minor for nothing! From writing scripts and poetry to singing a variety of genres to editing sound and film, I am very multi-disciplinary.

In my free time, I enjoy running and playing tabletop role-playing games of all kinds, mostly games like Pathfinder and Lancer. I watch a ton of movies, some of my favorites being from Japanese director Hiroshi Teshigahara. I also love cooking new foods, reading, playing video games with friends, going to museums, and petting cute animals when I see them (I have yet to lose a finger in this pursuit!).
